This is all about stats, according to BBC news story, UK has issued recorded number of citizenship last year.

Just look at the figures, which say all about the story at a glance.

A record 164,635 people were granted British citizenship last year, government figures have shown.

Separate Home Office figures showed the number of asylum applications in the first three months of 2008, 6,595, rose 16% on the same period last year.

China quake toll ‘nearly 40,000′

This is the latest news story featured at BBC news site, which says almost 40000 souls were departed from the world by the earth quake in China. From time to time there are several natural disasters reported from various parts of the world.

Myanmar and China are the two destinations which hardly devasted by cyclone and Earth quake, respectively.

Pray for the world survivilance from natural hazards.

The death toll from last week’s devastating earthquake in China’s Sichuan province has risen to 39,577, a local official has said.

The figure, given by Sichuan’s vice-governor, does not include a few hundred dead in nearby provinces.

Microsoft mulls fresh Yahoo deal

This seems Microsoft wont give up its effort to acquire the Yahoo. The comapany owned by Bill Gates, said that they will have an alternative way to get some business with Yahoo.

According to BBC news article, the details of the transaction have not been revealed by the officials. But, we can hope that this new offer will work out to Microsoft. Microsoft is the giant software company, and it has an intension to buy the Yahoo.

Microsoft has said it is considering a deal with Yahoo which would not involve a full buyout of the company.

Microsoft’s previous offer to buy Yahoo for $33 a share – a figure which valued the company at $47.5bn (£24.36bn) – was turned down.

Titanic ticket sells for £33,000

This is something strange. According to BBC news stroy, one of the last four remaining tickets for the Titanic’s doomed maiden voyage has sold at aution for 33,000 pounds.

What a classic sale!!

One of the last four remaining tickets for the Titanic’s doomed maiden voyage has sold at auction for £33,000.

The ticket, sold by Henry Aldridge and Son in Devizes, Wiltshire, was part of a collection belonging to one of the last survivors, Lillian Asplund.

Miss Asplund died on 6 May 2006, aged 99, and left the collection to her second cousin from Massachusetts, US.

Life is full of failures. You cant spot any success stories without a failure situations. Most successful people have met several failures in their times and learned from their failures and move from it.

While we are thinking the failure may be the bitter fruit. I don’t believe that failure never been a bitter thing. Its the best thing, where we can find most alternative ways to get things done.

Failures are the teachers, point out the best things and guide us in very reliable path. If we can learn from failures, we can overcome any obstacles we facing by the failure. There we can gain ourself, to rise every time we fail. The quote below illustrates the whole thing….

The power of forgiveness

Normally, people find hard time to forgive the people who have made wrongs. But, once we developed the ability to forgive people it gives us most enhanced power to be with among people. And also, we can be the nicer people in any cliques.

Forgiveness is a power and it is not come within itself. It has to be practiced all in our day lives and make the sense of being the nice people around.

This is an abstract that gives you, what forgiveness meant to be.

Overcoming adversity through force is only half way winning the battle, but by overcoming adversity through love, is a complete victory. Let go of anger and resentment by writing a letter of forgiveness to a person who has hurt or wronged you. Inability to forgive is associated with persistent rumination or dwelling on revenge, while forgiving allows us to move on.

Forgiveness is a benefit to ourselves and not necessarily to the participant of the wrong doing. It allows us to let go of bad feelings, reclaiming our personal power and teaches us to look for positive opportunities in all situations. Practicing forgiveness takes time and effort, and does not happen overnight, as with anything of a self improvement nature. Learning to forgive can reduce stress, anger, depression, and lower blood pressure. Forgiveness is linked with higher self-esteem, better moods and happier relationships.

The first draft of Charles Darwin, father of biology has been put online for the first time. Darwinism had made the most scientists to think about the nature and globe in very strange way.

Odinga sworn in as Kenyan premier

Raila Odinga has officialy became the premier of Kenya. This was disclosed at the minister sworning ceremony held in Kenya.

The BBC article has the detailed story of this phenominal move in Kenya.

Kenya’s opposition leader Raila Odinga has officially become prime minister at the swearing-in of a coalition cabinet.

There was applause at State House after Mr Odinga read out his oath of office to be “faithful to the president of the Republic of Kenya”.

His cabinet post is a key element of the power-sharing deal with President Mwai Kibaki to end a post-poll crisis.

Some 1,500 people died and 600,000 fled their homes in violence after a disputed presidential poll in December.
