Since I am journaling my thoughts and hopes in the cyaberspace and diary, I thought of having a personal domain name of myself with my all details.

Finally I come up with the name called NIRAM. Niram means colour in Tamil language. The way I see my life is not radical but, positive. I hope to share what I really feel about something. I have started to blog on the issues that impact on my routine tasks and people minds. When I decided to start a blog in Tamil, I look for better names, ultimately I end up with a great colour that – NIRAM.

Colours are playing a major role in our day today life. We tend to see the feeling or attitude of something by looking at its colour. Because the colour has its own set of unwritten rules so called “Ezhuthappadaatha Vithihal”. What I am really inspired at colours, there are plenty of colours available in the nature, that can be help us to have some calmness within us. How miracle energy that colours can hold with itself.

I am always wondering at the way of colours impact on every person’s life. So, I finally decided to own a name in colour thus, NIRAM. I’ve searched for it.

I found that NIRAM.ORG can be my domain. I purchased it and host my home page, where I have listed all my (not all my – there are plenty of things still pending to be revealed) works in cyberspace. I hope you can have a better picture of mine by looking at what I have really fond of with technological aspects.

I had a chance to visit an exhibition which is hosted by the government in order to deliver the capabilities of country.

The exhibition premises were full of stalls with various types of innovative products. Universities and public institutions were among host. Most stalls belong to universities and educational institutions are exhibited some innovative products. Robot Technology is merely used by each and every institution.

I went to a stall, where the products which were produced by the Nano technology were exhibited. I was really surprised about the particular products.

I thought it is worth to share those products with you. I just capture those products by my Mobile phone camera. Hopefully images are in normal quality.

Michael Meyer, of the NASA Mars Exploration Program, told reporters at a press conference on Wednesday, that “The Mars orbiter camera has seen changes in the surface of the planet within the last seven years, highlighting critical processes that have altered that surface, The Mars exploration program has been following the water since the mid-90s and now we have found it. Water seems to have flowed on the surface of today’s Mars.”

Toshiba today announced a 1.8-inch drive that offers a storage capacity of 100GB, claiming it is the largest capacity yet achieved in this class of hard disk drive (HDD).

The new drive, the MK1011GAH, employs perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR) technology and an improved error correction code to secure the highest areal density of any 1.8-inch HDD in the market, 240.8 megabits per square millimeter (155.3 gigabits per square inch).

Toshiba will start mass production of the new drive from January 2007.

Alongside capacity improvement, Toshiba said it has also improved power consumption to 0.003W/GB. The new drive complies with the EU’s RoHS directive, which came into force in July 2006.

Toshiba will feature the new drive at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 8-11, at booth 12832.

Internet giant Google has bought a landmark in its history – the suburban home where it was founded in 1998.
Google has paid an undisclosed fee for the property in Menlo Park, California, where Larry Page and Sergey Brin started the business from a garage.

At the time Google has $1m (£535,000) in funds, compared with £10bn in cash reserves today and a total market value of $125bn.

Google bought the property from one of its employees, Susan Wojcicki.

Information and even technology changing day by day. We have the time that Wikipedia will be the giant source of information all time in future. But, here is an announcement made by co-founder of Wikipedia Mr. Larry Sanger, that he will host a new project called “Citizendium” – which is a online encyclopedia not wikipedia.

Speaks to media Larry said:

We believe a fork is necessary, and justified, both to allow regular people a place to work under the direction of experts, and in which personal accountability – including the use of real names – is expected. In short, we want to create a responsible community and a good global citizen,

As much as this project aquire every data from the Wikipedia and find out the article’s vulnerebilities and accuracy with the help of related professionals. This procedure will hopefully make Citizendium a worth and accuracy encyclopedia rathar than Wikipedia.

But, It couldn’t to say that Wikipedia will expire when Citizendium on the go. Most people will see Citizendium as a more trustworthy version of Wikipedia and as a result will probably use it. Setting up the system will be hard but, I think, it is very possible after some hard works.
